This blog is my public venting of the exceedingly poor service that I have received as a tenant at Chateau Duval, 3106 Duval St. Austin TX. It is run by United Asset Management.
The apartments are not maintained at all. The A/C does not run in the heat of the summer forcing me to stay awake at nights when it gets 85 degrees inside. The heat in the May afternoons goes up to 90 degrees -- which is when I pack up and simply go to school to sit down and chill in my lab.
In short, although I pay rent, I cannot live in my house since the A/C does not work. Oh, the bathtub also leaks into the apartment below. And no one has taken care of that either.
